My name is Kirstie and I qualified as an integrative Counsellor in the year 2020. Since then I have gained many hours experience with children and young people ranging from the ages of 8-25 years old.

Before I began my journey into counselling, I worked as a Teaching Assistant within a local special needs school, I then worked my way up to senior support and then was able to experience some time as an unqualified teacher for just over a year.

I left for a short while to pursue my counselling qualification, but have since returned to begin work as an individual needs support working 1:1 with a number of students. I have strong community links and also have a lot of experience working within multi agency teams and work alongside CAMHS.

I am now a school counsellor at a local Grammar school and also school counsellor at a Special needs school for staff and students.

Due to this experience I can bring my skills and knowledge of the special educational needs sector and those with special needs to support those individuals and their families.
